After You Apply

Brown’s Fulbright Review Committee meets in August to review and evaluate applicants.

If you are endorsed by Brown for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, you will:

  1. Conduct an interview with a member of the Fulbright Committee in September 2026.
  2. Submit your final application through Fulbright's online application system by the national deadline of 5pm EST on October 6, 2026.

Following the national deadline, the Fulbright National Screening Committee reviews applications and makes recommendations from December through January. If you are recommended by the Fulbright National Screening Committee, your application will be forwarded to your selected host country for review. If you are invited to interview for a Fulbright grant, connect with our team to discuss next steps.
