Fellowships
The Schwarzman Scholars Program provides seniors and recent alumni with the opportunity to understand China's role in today's geopolitical landscape through an intensive, innovative one-year Master's in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing. During the degree, students meet with renown international leaders and develop cross-cultural leadership training through intentional, cohort-based programming.
- What’s provided: Schwarzman Scholars are fully supported in the cost of their graduate degree at Tsinghua University, including tuition and related fees, a stipend to cover cost of living, academic supplies and country tours, as well as airfare to and from Beijing.

Eligibility
- Must have received a bachelor's degree by the time of the start of the program
- Must be between 18-28 years of age by the time of application
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the English language

How to Apply
The Schwarzman Scholars application requires the following:
- Demographic and personal information
- Lists of work experiences, awards and recognitions, and leadership roles
- A leadership essay (750 words)
- A statement of purpose (500 words)
- Two short answer responses (100 words each)
- An official transcript from any university or college attended
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
Students must submit their completed application via the Schwarzman Scholars online application system no later than the national deadline, to be announced Spring 2026.
